 The Fintastic Fall Fundraiser

Just a heads up that donation envelopes will come home with your children at the end of next week for our PTA fall fundraiser.

This is the most important fundraiser of the year as we look to cover more than 65% of our total operating costs.  The funds go towards such things as: classroom enrichment, teacher stipends, grants, family activities such as Family Bingo Night, the art docent program, classic books, Science Fair & Art Walk among many other things.

Questions about what your money will go toward?  You can check out our budget here.

Please remember that any donation, or volunteer time, helps the PTA which in turn will help your kids!!

Thank you, in advance, for your generosity!!!

INFORMATION FOR 5th & 6th GRADE FAMILIES:

You are invited to attend an informational meeting about the structure of middle school.  The meeting will be on October 11, 6:00-6:30pm in the SV Library, just before the Shelton View PTA Meeting.
The CPJH principal, Sebastian Ziz, will be presenting an overview of the NSD's middle school philosophy and current information about the middle school reconfiguration. This information will be relevant for families in both the Kenmore MS and Canyon Park MS service areas.

There will also be meetings at CPJH and KJH for 5th and 6th grade parents to learn about registering for next year's classes and get specifics about Canyon Park Middle School and Kenmore Middle School, respectively.  5th and 6th grade parents are encouraged to prioritize their Registration Information Night if they can only attend one of the these meetings.

For Canyon Park:
5th Grade Registration Information Night is October 19th at 7:00pm in CPJH Gym.
6th Grade Registration Information Night is October 20th at 7:00pm in CPJH Gym.

For Kenmore:

5th Grade Registration Information Night is November 9 at 6:30pm in KJH Gym.
6th Grade Registration Information Night is November 9 at 6:30pm in KJH Gym.

ART DOCENT PROGRAM

We want all our students to have access to art and that access can start with you!

Art Docent is a once a month commitment volunteering in a classroom leading kids in an art lesson and project. You don’t need to be a professional artist, we’ll show you how to lead a lesson and provide all the supplies.

Interested? Contact Luisa Vega at luisavega@icloud.com

Both teams are looking for volunteers to help with planning the party and coming up with ways to fundraise for the party.
