Per district guidelines, all Northshore School District (NSD) volunteers must have cleared a background check and must be fully vaccinated to volunteer. This process might take as long as 2-3 weeks once submitted, please do ASAP.

NSD volunteer approval is valid for ONE year. You will need to renew your volunteer status each year. Watch for a reminder about a month before it expires. The email will come from "Safe Hiring Solutions" (info@safevisitorsolutions.com). 

  • If you are already an NSD approved volunteer, you will have received a volunteer "badge" that you might want to have with you (on your phone or printed). The school will confirm your approved volunteer status.
  • If you are NOT an NSD approved volunteer (or your status has expired), know that the process can take up to 2-3 weeks, so its important to start it as soon as you can. Click this link to become a district volunteer today!
